Privacy Policy

This policy covers the Live All In mobile app and the service behind it, published by Hilary Weeks.
The short version
The app has no accounts and no passwords. It does not track you, does not contain advertising, and does not include any analytics or third-party tracking software. The only personal information it ever collects is an email address, and only if you choose to type one in.
What stays on your phone
Your favourites, your playlists, the quotes you save, and any songs you download for offline listening are stored on your device only. They are not sent to us and we cannot see them. Deleting the app deletes them.
Because there are no accounts, this also means they do not follow you to a new phone automatically. The app has a Copy my library option that puts a copy on your clipboard so you can move it yourself.
What we collect, and when
Only if you sign up to the newsletter: your first name, if you give one, and your email address. We use these to send you Hilary’s newsletter and nothing else. We do not sell them, rent them, or pass them to anyone for their own marketing.
Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link. You can also email the address below and ask us to delete your details, and we will.
Ordinary server records
Our hosting providers keep standard technical logs when the app requests music or images — an IP address, the time, and what was requested. That is how any website works and we do not use those logs to build a profile of you or link them to a person.
Who else is involved
Music, images and content are served by our hosting and database providers, who process this data on our behalf and under contract. Tapping a video opens YouTube, which is Google’s service and has its own privacy policy — once you leave the app, that is between you and them.
Children
The app is a music app suitable for all ages, but it is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us an email address, contact us and we will remove it.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update this page and the date at the bottom. Material changes will also be mentioned in the newsletter.
